FAQs and Rules

Logistics

  • When should I arrive/leave?
The landsite opens to attendees at 3:00 PM on Thursday.

Registration will be open during the following hours.
    Thursday - 3pm to 10pm
    Friday - 10am to 2pm

Arriving outside of these hours? Registration will be on-call. Pull up to the main common area (follow the signs for registration) and find any member of staff (Red "Committee Member" ribbon) or a volunteer (Yellow "Volunteer" ribbon)

The event concludes on Sunday, and we ask that all attendees are packed up and off the landsite by 12:00 PM (noon).

  • What should I bring?
Since this is a camping event, you'll need the basics: a tent, sleeping bag/air mattress/bedding, weather-appropriate clothing (Texas in October can be unpredictable!), toiletries, a towel, bug spray, and sunscreen. We also highly recommend bringing slip-on shoes or sandals for easily getting around (walking barefoot is not advised), a comfortable camp chair, and a flashlight or headlamp for navigating the paths at night. Feel free to bring any personal snacks or drinks you'd like to have on hand, though we will provide some throughout the weekend!

  • Do I need to bring my own bedding for the bunkhouse?
Yes. If you purchased a Bunkhouse upgrade, you must bring your own pillows, sheets, and blankets/sleeping bags. The camp does not provide linens.

  • Can I bring my own alcohol?
Yes, Woofstock is a BYOB event and you are welcome to bring alcohol for your personal consumption. No open service of alcohol is provided or permitted. Please drink responsibly.

Important note on age requirements: Woofstock is an 18+ event. The possession or consumption of alcohol by anyone under the age of 21, or providing alcohol to anyone under 21, is strictly prohibited by law. Attendees over 21 will be issued a green wristband at check-in. Attendees aged 18-20 will be issued an orange wristband. Any violation of this policy will result in immediate removal from the event without a refund.

  • Is there cell service or Wi-Fi on the landsite?
Because Buzzards' Peak is in a rural area, cell service can be incredibly spotty depending on your carrier. There is Wi-Fi available and included, but we highly encourage using this weekend as an excuse to unplug!

Facilities & Accessibility

  • How accessible is the campground terrain?
Buzzards' Peak is a rustic, outdoor facility. The paths connecting the camping areas, bunkhouse, dining area, and pole barn are mostly unpaved dirt and gravel. While the terrain is mostly flat, it is uneven and can become muddy if it rains. Only some facilities have step-free access. If you have severe mobility concerns, please contact us ahead of time so we can help you determine if the landsite meets your needs.

  • Are there hookups for RVs?
Most RV spots provide 30-amp electrical service, and some water hookups may be available. However, there are no septic hookups and no dump station on the property. Please plan accordingly and arrive with empty black/gray water tanks.

  • Can I have a fire or use a cooking stove at my campsite?
No, open flames are not permitted in the camping area. Weather permitting, we will have a camp fire in the main firepit. If you are concerned about preparing your own food due to dietary requirements, please reach out to us to discuss accommodations.

Rules & Etiquette

  • Is this a sex thing?
While sex and BDSM are not the focus of the event, Woofstock and the TCC landsite are play-positive, sex-positive, adults-only spaces. Because TCC is a private facility, the grounds are largely clothing-optional (though we require you to stay clothed in the kitchen, parking area, the Buzzards' Peak trail, and the ball pit). There are no formal play parties or dungeon monitors for the weekend, meaning all play is at your own risk. If you engage in BDSM or sexual play, please stick to the dedicated outdoor play space or your own campsite. We ask that you always respect others' autonomy and consent, honor the house safe word ("Red"), and clean up your play space afterwards. Condoms and lube will be available, but you are encouraged to bring your own.

  • Is consent required at Woofstock?
Absolutely, 100%. Explicit, enthusiastic consent is mandatory for any physical interaction, including petting, playing, or joining a scene. Do not touch someone, handle their gear, or attempt to interact with an active scene without clear permission. If someone tells you "no," respect it immediately. The house safe word is “Red”.

  • What is the photography policy?
We want everyone to feel safe expressing themselves without fear of being outed or having their photo taken without permission. You must have explicit, affirmative consent from EVERY person in the frame before taking a photo. Always check your background to ensure no one is accidentally in the shot. Photography of any kind is strictly prohibited in designated BDSM play spaces.

  • Can I bring my biological dog/pet?
No. For the safety of the local wildlife and our attendees, biological pets are not allowed at Woofstock. Trained ADA service animals are permitted, but please be aware that the outdoor environment and large presence of pet-players can be stressful for some service animals. Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) are not permitted.

  • What is the drug policy?
The Texas Conference of Clubs has a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding illegal substances. Any attendee found in possession of or using illegal drugs will be immediately ejected from the event without a refund.
